Lior has always been working in the textile field with proposals, designs and current and trendy creations and is Oeko tex certified company.
Lior in Como, a family company founded in 1984, was historically a member of a pool of companies operating in Italy, France and Switzerland. The company is currently run by Annalisa and Luigi, sons of the founder Gaspare Cristiani. The activity in the textile field, mainly based on printing, at the beginning was characterized by the presentation of the collections for clothing, which were joined by the mid-nineties, proposals and creations for the underwear, swimwear and active wear sectors. In the mid-nineties the company took over Lastiss Sa, acquiring also the transfer and printing technique of all the effects of metallic and holographic sheet, as well as showing the know-how obtained on the classic techniques of traditional press created in the 1960s and culminating in 1978 with the creation of the Helistampa Sa printing press in Switzerland.
The skills and techniques gained in the past are still applied by Lior today, both in the Casnate Con Bernate plant and in outsourcing, being the traditional and above all the digital printing made today in some print shops that have long-standing relationships with Lior. Since 2013, Annalisa and Luigi have definitively left Switzerland, establishing themselves completely in Como, in order to avoid unnecessary cost increases and relying on a lean and responsive manufacturing near to the sources of supply.
The spirit that guide the entire Lior team is made by the desire of growth and evolution, in the constant pursuit of excellence. Within the company, great importance is given to some factors: good relations with customers, creative and innovative proposals, services, quality and speed. These are the main strengths of Lior, together with the absolutely competitive prices. Particular attention is paid to flexibility and to the needs of customers, even medium-small, in order to offer everyone a complete offer for the creation of the collections.
Totally European. Most of the fabrics we work and transform in Italy are of European origin. We offer a wide and diversified selection of fabrics using a wide variety of fibers. The minimum order required for production is 35 m. Our staff is very careful in the study of the colors used for the set and on articles made with the use of different fibers for appearance, weight and final yield. We offer a wide range of designs and maximum availability to work on customer proposals to develop custom designs and special colors.
